FROM COLLECTION TO SET
Find audio and video on your Mac and connected drives. Review detected files, choose what to import, and browse titles, artists, genre, BPM, musical key, year and availability.
Open Quick edit details to review a track, look up suggestions and correct its title, artist, genre, year, BPM or key. Save in Companion and use Activity to undo. Writing original file tags is a separate choice.
Sort by Camelot key or build a suggested harmonic order. Transition notes show compatible key changes. Move tracks yourself when the room calls for a different direction; your ears still decide.
After music moves, scan your collection for replacement candidates. Prior file-health hashes can verify identical content; filename and approximate matches need your review. Preview the changes, close Serato and apply supported repairs with recovery and undo.
Search YouTube through the shared Companion service and sign in to Spotify on the Mac app. Explore regional charts, short Apple previews where available and samples of public Serato DJ playlists. Open results on their official services.
Open How to use inside the app. The beginner guide explains DJ terms, every workspace, important buttons and save destinations. Two essential tips and contextual help make the next action easier to understand.

THE DJ STILL DECIDES
Make a planned order or a flexible pool of favourites. Review suggested transitions, keep alternatives nearby and choose what fits the crowd.
New to DJ preparation? The in-app guide explains crates, BPM, musical keys, cue points and what each important button does.
